The foundations of the World Islamic Forum were laid in the Think Tanks Forum of the Islamic Countries themed as “Peace, Civilization and Cooperation“, which was organized by the Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul in 2010.
