First of all let me thank you for invitation. For me it is a great honor to take part in such important event as a First World Turkic Forum. I would like to correct the program; I am a former Minister for Human Rights and Minorities of Czech Republic.
27-29 May 2009 the SCO Secretary-General Bolat Nurgaliev participated in the 4th International Turkish-Asian Congress “Regional Organisations in Asia: Institutionalisation and Cooperation” held in Istanbul, he made statements during the opening of the Congress and the first plenary meeting on the role of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
I would like to thank to Turkish Center for Strategic Studies for this invitation and organization of this very important conference. I would like to speak of the importance of the role of GCC countries for the Asian Relational Asian and Development and the Republic of Turkey will be beneficent of these kinds of activities that the Gulf of Asian Council has able to produce for the development of Asia
It is a distinct honor and pleasure for me to be present here and address this august assembly on the occasion of the opening of the Fourth International Turkish-Asian Congress today in the historical city of Istanbul.
At the outset, I will like to thank the organizers for inviting the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) to this august gathering. I also wish to express my appreciation to TASAM for the warm hospitality and excellent arrangements for the event.
I am honoured and pleased to host the International Balkan Congress as a second time on the behalf of the Namik Kemal University. I would like to welcome all of you with my outmost respects.
