9th Istanbul Security Conference Starts Tomorrow

6th Türkiye - Gulf Defence and Security Forum whose main theme ““New Balances, New Roles, New Alliances“ was held by TASAM National Defence and Security Institute, together with the 8th Istanbul Security Conference on the date of 04 November 2022 in Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Istanbul Merter, simultaneously as a sub-event.
Transforming the relations between Turkey and Middle East (or in a narrower context between Turkey and the Gulf States - where strategic dialogue is still developing despite its strong historical and cultural background) from a fragile axis to a cooperation axis that will adapt to new balances, new roles and new alliances is an obligation rather than an option. Seen with vision and foresight, it has been tested in various crises, where history and the spirit of the time have long reminded this.
The geopolitical panorama created by the similarities of African countries as well as their differences provides crucial data both for their integration and for their potential for conflict. Both intra-continental and international defence and security strategies need to be determined in a way that does not exploit these qualities of Africa and that primarily treats them as gains in favor of the continent.

The 6th Turkish - European Forum, which will be held with the main theme of the “Future of the European Economy and Turkey“ aims at contributing to this field.
Turkey's Asia Anew Initiative, announced in 2019, seeks to forge closer ties with Asia as it was in the past, which reappeared as the world's economic center of gravity with its emerging global powers, is a reflection of its entrepreneurial foreign policy concept that also requires to be innovative.
CIVIL GLOBAL | Global Civil Diplomacy Summit was first held in Istanbul on April 20-22, 2016. The Civil Global Program/Summit consolidates its function for Turkey and the World in deepening the relations on a reciprocal basis with Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America, Australia on the basis of continents, and the Middle East, Black Sea - Caucasus, Mediterranean and Balkans at the regional level, and the UN, SCO, OIC and
Turkey - US Forum has been formed with this purpose. The Forum that will be held annually; aims to develope and strengthen the relations between Turkey and the US. The forum also aims to serve as a platform that will put forward the opportunities and ideas that will elevate interests of both countries regarding the region and also broader areas.
