8th Strategic Vision Awards Announced

8^th TASAM Strategic Vision Awards have been announced.

TASAM Strategic Vision Awards have been given to eminent persons in eight different categories as Statesmen, Bureaucrats, Scientists, Institutions, Businessmen, Artists, Journalists - Writers who have strategic vision. 8^th TASAM Strategic Vision Awards Ceremony took place at 7 pm, on 11^th of March (Tuesday) 2014 at Ortaköy Princess Hotel.

The TASAM Strategic Vision Awards have been given since 2006 with aim of honoring statesmen, bureaucrats, scientists, public institutions, businessmen, artists and journalists - writers who share our country’s strategic vision with their different ideas, works and scientific approaches in order to improve continuously Turkey’s respectable position in its region and world on the basis of power and justice and who make serious endeavors for bringing Turkey over contemporaneous civilization level. These awards are also given to the successful people, statesmen and institutions from abroad that have a good relationship with Turkey and loved by Turkish society.

Şensoy: “Our Country’s stability and consolidation depend on institutionalization of critical thinking“

Chairman of TASAM Şensoy mentioned that TASAM has been operating as an independent and non-partisan “Think Tank“ and as an NGO for the past 11 years in order to contribute to the critical thinking and strategic capacity of Turkey on global scale. Şensoy has said “At this difficult historical process where parameters and balance of power have been redefined, our need for institutions and administrators with “strategic vision“ is vitally essential“. Şensoy has also said: “The main idea of TASAM Vision Awards which will take place for the 8^th time is to encourage our development model which is based on quality of human resource and multi-dimensional innovation. We will present these awards to the people who have strategically contributed to built a life space in our county where public administration is developed through innovation that is produced by dynamics of strong critical thinking; cities, companies, social and cultural textures, justice, human development is so strong that everybody would say I want to live in Turkey“.
