The First Türkiye Geospatial Intelligence Symposium will be held in Istanbul on 19–20 November 2026, in an international format, through the collaboration of Istanbul Esenyurt University, the TASAM National Defense and Security Institute (MSGE), and the General Directorate of Mapping of the Ministry of National Defense, under the overarching theme of "Geospatial Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence."

Aiming to contribute to academia, technology production, and strategic decision-making, the symposium's principal objective is to foster a broader situational awareness by advancing the scientific knowledge base concerning academic studies and technological developments in the field of geospatial intelligence, and, by shedding light on the needs within this domain, to offer forward-looking insights that will guide institutional and conceptual advancements — informed, among other things, by strategic considerations.
