6th Türkiye - Africa Defence Security and Aerospace Forum

  • “Turkish Military Presence in Africa, and New Horizons”
The 6th Türkiye - Africa Defence Security and Aerospace Forum, which brings together representatives from the Defence, security and space domains as well as institutions of both Türkiye and African Countries, will be held at the same period of time with the Istanbul Security Conference, which achieved a position for itself as a global brand. The forum have the objective, in order to meet the inventory/ecosystem needs while strengthening its background and network, to make updated contribution to the strategic cooperation and mutual capacity building.

THE MAIN EVENT
With all its co-events, the 9th Istanbul Security Conference with the main theme of "Strategic Transformation in the Ecosystem: Climate, Nourishment, Demography, Meritocracy, Economy, Health, Education, Employment, Family-Youth and City Security" will be held by TASAM National Defence and Security Institute (NDSI) in Istanbul Kent University Kağıthane Campus on 23-24 November 2023, in the 100th year of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.

There will be full-time Turkish-English and English-Turkish simultaneous translations at all events.

The application deadline for the Istanbul Security Conference and its co-events (Istanbul Cyber-Security Forum, Marine and Maritime Security Forum, Türkiye - Africa Defence Security and Aerospace Forum, and Turkey - Gulf Defence and Security Forum) is 21 November 2023. Participants who apply by filling out the form on Conference's or one of relevant co-events' page; will benefit from participation in all sessions, and lunches, conference materials, refreshments in coffee breaks within the scope of the events and will be entitled to a certificate and conference e-book. The Professional Participation fee for civilians is determined as ₺1,400, and the Academic Participation fee for academicians/students is determined as ₺900.
